This page explains how to request deletion of personal information that RainCryptoMedia (“we”, “our”, “us”) holds about you, including any data we have received from connected social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Discord, or Telegram. For background on what we collect and why, please see our Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@raincryptomedia.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. In the body of the email, please include the email address associated with your RainCryptoMedia account so we can locate your records. If your account is connected to multiple email addresses or you sign in via Google or another OAuth provider, include those identifiers as well.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We will only ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm that the request is coming from you.
2. What we will do
Within 30 days of receiving a verified request, we will permanently delete the personal information associated with your account from our active systems. This includes profile information, stored OAuth tokens for any connected social platforms, order history metadata that is not required to be retained for legal or financial-compliance reasons, and any per-product data (for example, scheduled posts or saved templates in Repost).
Once deletion is complete, you will receive an email confirmation at the address you used to make the request.
3. What may be retained
A limited subset of information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate compliance purposes — for example, transaction and tax records, fraud-prevention signals, and records needed to respond to legal process. Any such retention is limited to what is strictly necessary and is subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Backups containing your information are overwritten on a routine cycle and are not used to restore deleted accounts.
4. Revoking connected social platforms
For products that connect to a third-party social platform — such as Repost at repost.raincryptomedia.com, which can crosspost to Facebook, Instagram, Discord, and Telegram — you can also revoke our app's access directly from the platform's own settings. Doing so automatically signals our systems to delete the OAuth tokens we hold for that connection, without needing to email us first.
Facebook and Instagram. Open Facebook, then go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (sometimes labeled Apps and Websites). Find the RainCryptoMedia / Repost entry and choose Remove. Instagram permissions granted via Facebook Login are removed at the same time.
Discord. Open Discord, then go to User Settings → Authorized Apps. Find the RainCryptoMedia / Repost entry and choose Deauthorize.
Telegram. Telegram bot integrations can be revoked by removing the bot from any chat or channel where it has been added, and by sending the command /revoke to the bot in a direct message. You may also block the bot from your Telegram account.
If you revoke access at the platform level and would still like a confirmation that the corresponding tokens have been cleared on our side, send a follow-up email to privacy@raincryptomedia.com and we will reply with confirmation.
5. Closing your account entirely
A data deletion request as described above will result in closure of your account. If you only want to disconnect a single social platform but keep your RainCryptoMedia account, follow the revocation steps in section 4 instead, or contact us and specify which connection(s) you would like removed.
